About the Convent of Jesus and Mary, Dehradun

The Convent of Jesus and Mary in Dehradun is amongst the oldest and finest Boarding (Residential School) for girls. The school is popularly known as CJM and was founded in the year 1901. The school is located on the Convent Road near the Parade Ground in Dehradun. Well known for its academic excellence, development of skill and character formation, the school has been producing great results in every field since all these years.

CJM is affiliated  to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE). The academic session begins in April and ends in March, the following year. Convent of Jesus and Mary was an initiative of the Catholic Community and therefore was established by the J&M Dehradun Educational Society, a Christian Minority Institution.

The preference of admission will be given to Catholic children. However, admissions will also be open for children of other faiths without the distinction on cast and creed.

Admission in Convent of Jesus & Mary, Dehradun

• Registration of LKG will be accepted in the month of September and October. Registration forms will be available from the school office.
• Parents of new students seeking admission must produce a Municipal/Hospital/Cantonment Board Birth Certificate or a Baptism Certificate.
• The Principal and Management reserve the right to admit or refuse parents seeking admission for their wards in school.
