About Children’s Academy, Dehradun

The school was established in 1958, affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi in 1980, Children’s Academy is a co-educational English Medium School. The school has been amongst one of the eminent schools in Dehradun who have been producing some exemplary results in the field of education. Their aim is to impart sound and intellectual education to young boys and girls and developing in them a spirit of leadership, alongside the sense of being unified through uprooting all social, religious and communal prejudices and to prepare them to be responsible citizens of tomorrow. A good infrastructure with a benevolent staff that is always eager to put in tremendous efforts in inculcating the best values in children. With a number of streams offered in studies such as Science, Commerce, Humanities and Vocational Home Science the school has been molding some great individuals.

The school is infamous for having a number of co-curricular activities that have been responsible for the developing of an overall personality of a child.  Sports like Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Badminton, Carrom & Track and Field sports are offered at Children’s Academy. Co-Curricular activities such as Drama, Music, Dancing, Cultural Activities, Singing, Gardening etc. take place at the school.

Admissions in Children’s Academy

The admission in Children’s Academy is done through filling up a registration form which can be downloaded from the school’s official website. The school takes admission from Play Group, LKG, UKG, to Class IX and Class XI. No new admission is done in Class X and Class XII. After the registration is accepted admissions are done through an admission test.
